Jake is 1 year old!

Hard to believe a year has gone by so quickly. We had his party on Saturday, thank you for all those who could come and help celebrate this mile stone, we had a lot of fun. Also we want to thank everyone who gave him a gift. We put the $ he received in his college 529 fund, and he will really appreciate that in about 17 years (Dad and Mom will appreciate it the most :)

Still not walking yet but he can go with only holding onto someone with one hand now. The car walker and airplane roller that his grandmothers got him are helping him gain confidence.

Jake had a great Christmas. He woke up early (I guess we are going to have to get used to that). He didn't really understand the whole unwrapping thing but he did have fun playing with all the new stuff. He got an airplane rocker, flight jacket and outfit from Grandma VanSant, and an airplane roll about from his cousins Cody and Conner. It looks like an airport at our house!

Grandma Isakson and Mommy made an awesome roast beef dinner, and Dad put all his stuff together. We are having his birthday party on Saturday and I will post more picks Sunday.

Just a couple pictures from this week. We are going to the Hotel Del tomorrow to see the lights and I'll put more on then or Tuesday. Jake is doing well, still not walking but he can take a couple steps on his own from furniture to furniture. Grandma Isakson is in town for the holidays. Her and Mommy are busy planning Jake's first birthday party this Saturday.

We put up Jacobs first Christmas tree this weekend. We were a little considered with the tree being pulled down between Jake and the Cat, but I used some fishing line to tie it off to the two windows on either side. We also went to 3 holidays parties on Saturday. Jake was awesome and was the life of the party at all three. Kristin and I are really not sure how we got so lucky to get such a good kid... must take after his Mom :)

This looks like a good one!

Jake got to meet Santa for the first time. He did great so hopefully he won't get coal in his stocking this year.

He can push his airplane around pretty good. It won't be long before he won't need it to steady himself

 ... then heaven help us!

We went and spent Thanksgiving with Grandma Isakson, Uncle Pete, Aunt Kelly and cousins Cody and Conner. Jake had a fun time chasing his cousins around.

Jake is doing well. He had a small mole removed from under his arm and had a few stitches put in. He didn't appreciate the shot but did pretty well considering. We also think he has some more teeth coming in.
We are headed up to Washington this week for Thanksgiving. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Jake had a great week and is doing really well. He is into EVERYTHING... and Dad couldn't be prouder.
He has learned to clap, is started to try using a sippy cup, and can stand all by himself... for 4 seconds.

He are some bath pics we plan to blackmail him with when he's a teenager.

He has two little bruises on either side of his forehead from bumping into stuff...

...or it might be where his horns are growing out!
