Jake is getting better at walking...God help us! I have also learned than silence is a bad thing. He was playing upstairs while I was in on the computer, all of a sudden I realized that it was very quite... too quite. I went into the hallway to see him finish emptying the linen closet of all the towels. He was very proud to show me. Then today I looked over and he found Mommies make-up brush, that still had a little make-up on it... picture below.

Sorry we are a day behind. Kristin and I were in a wedding yesterday.
Jake is walking! He kind of resembles a little man who has had one to many cocktails but he is walking none the less. He gets so excited when he makes it across the room.

We finally got his 1 year pictures in. We will make copies and get those out in the mail this week.

Hi Everyone,
A good week for Jake. His teeth are doing much better, and he can almost walk across the living room by himself. Sometimes his top half gets going a little faster than his feet and he does a face plant from time to time.

The Dr. said he has some mild allergies to dogs, cats, eggs and a couple other things but that he should grow out of them. Till next week...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Busy week. We had Kristin's birthday, then we celebrated New Years at home and some friends came over. Grandma Gretchen went back to Washington and we miss her already.

Jake had his one year doctor's appointment. He weights 20 lbs, 10 oz. The Dr. drew some blood to see if we can nail down what Jake is allergic to. It doesn't bother him, but some time his face gets splotchy if eats certain foods or if a big dog gives him a kiss. His back teeth are coming in so he has been a little bear from time to time.

He is getting more confident with standing by himself and taking more and more steps.
