Sorry I am a couple days behind. I went up to Fresno over the weekend with some friends to mountain bike with a buddy who retired from the Navy and lives up there now.

Kristin and Jake went Boating with our Friends, Walt, Monica and Scott and Amber. Jake is getting over a little cold but otherwise doing fine. He had a Dr. check up last week and is doing fine except for the standard shots he had to get (he is not a big fan of needles).

It's going to be a busy spring. We got our plane tickets all set. We are flying to Washington 2 April to help Grandma Isakson move. I come back to spends a couple more weeks on San Clemente Island doing training, then I'm off to Hawaii for more training at the end of May. Finally Jake, Kristin and I will be in Maryland 4-9 Jun.
Kristin and I went out on the aircraft carrier, USS Nimitz for the day with our good friend Walt. It was a neat experience for Kristin to see flight operations at sea.

Rough day for Jake. He got a fat lip on the computer stand, bumped his head on the dresser, took a digger into the coffee table and I gave him a cookie that made his face splotchy. He's not hurt but I'm thinking about wrapping him in bubble wrap. He isn't the most graceful soul. I guess it's only the beginning.

Sorry, not many pictures this time, it was a busy week. Kristin and I flew up to Big Bear to go skiing for the day on Wednesday. Bad weather was coming through and it was a bumpy ride home. I have been busy wrapping up this semester of college with assignments and finals. Kristin is doing well and her job is still holding out.
Jake is doing good and has more teeth coming in. He wakes up every now and again in the middle of the night when his medicine wears off. He and I went to feed the ducks some bread today. I gave him some bread to throw to the ducks but he decided to eat it himself .

He insists on feeding himself.
The only thing he lets us spoon feed him is pudding!

We gave Jacob a hair cut and he was not to thrilled with that. I think it looks good though. He is still into everything and he has found a new way to let us know when he is done eating... he wipes all his food onto the floor... I wish we had a dog : )

Here are som pics at our park
