Jacob got another hair cut... back within regulations. He wasn't to happy about getting it. He and Mommy went to his second swim lesson today. He jumps into the pool with no fear. Dad had his last weekend class today so now I can play on the weekends too.

Kristin took Jacob to see the doctor about him not talking much yet. She gave us some tips and some classes we can take him to. He understands you just fine but his vocabulary mainly consists of "UH-OH", which he seems to do things on purpose so he can say it. I'm pretty sure once he starts talking we are going to rue the day we were concerned about it :)

Fun weekend! Wake boarding with Walt and Monica, and BBQ at Jack and Renne's on Saturday. Walt's going away party Saturday night. Jake is a little party animal. He had a sippy cup chugging contest with another kid at the party (Jake won, that's my boy).

Today, Jake and I worked more on his P-51 pedal plane and Mommy made us a awesome steak dinner.

Dad is back from Fallon, Nevada. I swear Jake grew at least 2 inches while I was gone for those few days. We went wakeboarding again on Saturday, and then Jake and Mommy went to a swimming lesson on Sunday. He is a natural little fish and has no fear when it comes to jumping into the pool. Here are some pictures of him cruising to the park on his Batman quad.

Happy 4th of July!

We had a fun weekend. Jake went to the beach for the first time Thursday. He liked running from the waves, but the water was a little cold for him. Friday we went wakeboarding with Uncle Walt. Saturday we planned to go watch the fireworks, but Jake didn’t last long enough so it was an early night. Today we worked on Jake’s airplane and went to the pool. I’m headed to Fallon, NV for a few days for a work conference. Till next week...
