We are up in Idaho visiting Grandma Gretchen and Jacobs’s cousins, Connor, Cody and Kendell. Jake is going to stay with Grandma for a few days as I am off to Fallon, NV for a couple weeks. Kristin has to go back to Chicago for a few days. Jake and Kristin will stay and visit until I come home from Fallon. Jake is having a great time playing with his cousins and is starting to acquire quite a few bumps and bruises trying to keep up.

Mommy is back from her business trip. Jake and I had fun, but we are both sure glad to have Mommy back. Went to SeaWorld again. Jake loved the pet show and playing in the water with the other kids. Then when we got home we played in the water some more on the back patio. We think the boy is part fish.

Jake and I are on our own for a whole week while Mommy has to go to Chicago for work. God help us!

It's Football season!

Jake will appreciate this when he's older!

Happy Labor Day! We had a fun weekend, we went to Jacob's friend Christian's birthday party on Saturday. Sunday we went to a pool party. Jake is a fish. Even when he is shivering he doesn't want to get out of the pool. We have to keep a real close eye on him around water. He has no fear about jumping off the step or off the side into the deep end and going under. He just pops back up ready for more.
